Our carefully curated approach to wellness integrates the benefits of multiple practices including Acupuncture, NLP, and Yoga with Buddhist teachings and meditation to provide an immersive comprehensive approach to restoring your health and well-being.
Situated in the beautiful mountainous landscape of Jerica, Spain, the retreat centre provides the supportive conditions needed in which to look deeply at our lives and transform them for the better.
You don’t need to know anything about any of the practices offered on the retreat. You just need to be open to exploring what they can offer you and the implications this can have for your life.
The Practices
An initial consultation with our team will take place prior to the retreat to explore your own personal needs and goals and useful individualised resources will be provided at the end of the retreat to support the continuation of your practice.

NLP (Neurolinguistic Programming)
NLP (neurolinguistic programming) is a powerful tool for personal growth, communication, enhancement, and overcoming mental barriers to help you live a life you love.
In this retreat, you'll quickly learn how to develop the skills and capabilities to identify how and when you get yourself “stuck” in unhelpful thinking habits and be able to replace them with beneficial patterns and behaviours.

Acupuncture
Acupuncture is an ancient Chinese medicine practice that stimulates specific points on the body with hair-fine needles to promote natural self-healing and improve overall well-being.
In this retreat, Tammy and Holly will aim to provide you with a focused and personalized treatment course consisting of daily acupuncture treatments.

Buddhism and Meditation
Buddhism and Meditation The Buddha taught a path to liberation from suffering, and his is teachings, known as the Dharma, encompass various principles and practices like meditation designed to help individuals achieve great states of wisdom and compassion.
On this retreat we'll explore some basic Buddhist ideas and teachings alongside cultivating a daily meditation practice that you can take home with you. You will develop the capacity to still and calm the mind by becoming aware of the breath and learn how to cultivate appreciation and love of “self and other.”

Yoga and Movement
Yoga is an ancient Indian practice that works to cultivate inner peace, physical strength, and mental clarity by performing physical postures.
In this retreat, you'll focus on and explore a therapeutic application of Hatha yoga particularly centering on the back, hips, and shoulders, through shorter, accessible to all sessions, of around 30 minutes.
The Team

Ben - NLP (Neurolinguistic Programming)
Ben is a seasoned practitioner of NLP, hypnosis, and life coaching, specializing in helping clients recover from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) and severe anxiety. His approach focuses on identifying and interrupting unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors. At the retreat, Ben will lead group sessions and offer one-on-one consultations, empowering participants to cultivate resourceful patterns for a life they love.

Tammy - Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine
Tammy has a background rooted in three generations of chiropractors, and transitioned to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) after a stroke led her to seek alternative healing methods. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Acupuncture and specializes in musculoskeletal, skin conditions, and women’s health. At the retreat, Tammy will provide personalized acupuncture treatments and TCM consultations, aiming to enhance holistic well-being through techniques such as acupuncture, acupressure, and Qi Gong.

Sudaka - Buddhism, Meditation, Yoga
Sudaka embarked on his Buddhism and yoga journey in the late 1980s, eventually becoming an Ordained Buddhist and Yoga teacher and trainer, mindfulness, and Traditional Thai Massage practitioner. He co-runs the Bodhiyoga Teacher Training program and focuses on therapeutic Hatha Yoga. During the retreat, Sudaka will guide meditation sessions rooted in Buddhist mindfulness and offer teachings on basic Buddhist principles related to health and healing.

Holly - Team Leader, Acupuncture, Meditation
Holly began her journey into Buddhist meditation and practice over 12 years ago. She is a certified Yoga teacher and holds a BSc (Hons) in Acupuncture. Holly has lived and practiced in Buddhist retreat centres in the UK and teaches meditation and yoga at retreats and the Nottingham Buddhist Centre. As the retreat leader, Holly will support the team and retreatants to fully immerse themselves in the experience. She will also assist Tammy in delivering acupuncture sessions and support Sudaka in guiding meditations.

The retreat cost includes food, accommodation, and all services delivered during the retreat. However, attendees are responsible for arranging their own flights and travel to and from the retreat centre.
